Visual home! Amazon is creating AR shopping experience

Amazon has never been conservative, whether it is on-the-job services, drone delivery or grocery stores. This Internet retailer is always looking for new ways to innovate the consumer shopping experience. So what's the next step for the next $275 billion giant? They have changed the way we buy furniture through one of the most exciting new technologies on the market.

According to the New York Times, Amazon is using augmented reality and virtual reality to help you visualize various furniture and home appliances in your home. In theory, consumers will be able to see the virtual presentation of things such as sofas, tables and refrigerators. In this way, you don't need to take 100 pounds of furniture or household appliances to climb stairs, or wait until you've moved to your home hard to find that the sofa is actually not commensurate with the tiles.

According to Amazon’s recent recruitment announcement, the retail giant is building a mixed reality team “focused on defining next-generation platforms and content.” Amazon hopes to recruit a mixed-reality UX design manager to lead the creation of a mixed-reality product experience targeted at platforms such as Daydream, Oculus, Vive and PlayStation.

It is reported that Amazon intends to set up an electronic product store like Apple, providing Amazon Echo, Echo Dot and Amazon Prime Video products and services.
