Yesterday, the three-day exhibition of the second town lighting, LED lighting accessories and production equipment (shortened as “light distribution exhibition”) was opened. The "Guzhen Global Lighting and Lighting Industry Fund" co-sponsored by Guzhen and China Everbright Group has become the focus of media attention. The fund will raise 8.5 billion yuan, all of which will be used to build an important platform for Guzhen lighting and lighting industry upgrade "Guzheng Global Lighting Lighting Industry Center". The ancient town government regards this as an important turning point for industrial upgrading. City leaders Lei Yi, Ma Zhigang, Yin Zhaoju, Li Wuyi, and Secretary-General of the Chinese Lighting Association Liu Sheng and other guests attended the opening ceremony.

At the "Zhongshan and Central Enterprises Strategic Cooperation Symposium" held in Beijing in early March of this year, Zhongshan Guzhen Lighting Capital Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the ancient town government, and China Everbright Group have reached a strategic cooperation in launching the aforementioned fund. This time, with the opportunity of the opening ceremony of the ancient town lighting, Wu Shaohua, executive director and deputy general manager of China Everbright Group Corporation, came to sign a formal cooperation agreement with Guzhen.

In addition to the fund invested by Everbright Group, the fund will be funded by Everbright Group to raise industrial funds, and will invest in the development and construction of Guzhen Lighting Industry Upgrade Platform “Guzheng Global Lighting and Lighting Industry Center”. Everbright Group will also provide support in the investment and operation aspects of the project, which will help Guzhen achieve the phased goals of “China Capital City” to “World Capital City” transformation and upgrading in the next five years.

According to the town mayor Su Enming, the Guzhen Global Lighting and Lighting Industry Center Project is the first integrated global, hybrid, and headquarters lighting industry upgrade complex, located in the core area of ​​the ancient town, with a planned area of ​​430,000 square meters and a total investment of 85 100 million yuan, the project integrates global lighting and lighting business headquarters office, research and development design, brand exhibition trade, international business, "king of light" landmark architecture as a whole, and supporting the modern financial services industry.

At present, the project has been listed in the 2011 key construction projects in Guangdong Province and the key construction projects in 2011 in Zhongshan City. It is expected that construction will start in 2011.
