According to the form of disaster, electrical accidents can be divided into personal accidents, equipment accidents, electrical fires and explosion accidents. According to the circuit conditions at the time of the accident, they can be divided into short-circuit accidents, disconnection accidents, grounding accidents, electric leakage accidents, etc. The severity can be divided into major accidents, major accidents, general accidents, etc.; according to the degree of injury, it can be divided into three types: death, serious injury and minor injury.
According to the basic reasons of the accident, electrical accidents can be divided into the following categories:
(1) Electric shock accident. When a person touches a charged body (or is too close to a high-voltage charged body), a personal injury accident occurs due to a current flowing through the human body. The electric shock accident is caused by the application of current energy to the human body. The electric shock can be divided into three types: single-phase electric shock, two-phase electric shock and strid voltage electric shock.

The above four electrical accidents are most common with electric shock accidents. But no matter what kind of accident, it is caused by improper release or transfer of energy of various types of current, electric charge and electromagnetic field.
