It is reported that the implementation period of the home appliance replacement policy is tentatively scheduled for June 1, 2010 to December 31, 2011. The detailed rules make it clear that during the implementation period of the policy, all residents who have Anhui accounts and units registered in Anhui Province (hereinafter referred to as purchasers) will sell the discarded old appliances to the successful bidder, and go to the bid-winning sales company to purchase new household appliances. New home appliances that have enjoyed the subsidy policy for home appliances to the countryside must not repeat the trade-in subsidies.

In the implementation period of the policy, the total amount of personal purchases of new household appliances shall not exceed 5 units; the total amount of units purchasing new household appliances shall not exceed 50 units. Trade-in subsidies for household appliances include TVs, refrigerators (including freezers), washing machines, air conditioners, and computers. If the scope of subsidies for products is adjusted by the country, our province will revise it according to the scope of national adjustments and submit it to the provincial government for approval and implementation.
