Since September last year, the emergence of the first national alliance standard in China's lighting industry in Nanhai, Foshan has become the focus of attention outside the industry. Alliance avoids vicious competition

In recent years, 60% of export enterprises in China have encountered foreign trade barriers, and the impact of trade barriers on China has exceeded US$45 billion annually, accounting for more than 25% of total annual exports. In Nanhai, Foshan, China, which has a 50% share of the global market, the main production base of Nanhai Downlights is in Danzao. At present, there are more than 60 such enterprises in the town, with Langshi, Pinyi and Delta. A well-known domestic brand, Osram, Philips, Panasonic and other world famous brand companies in the town for OEM production, Danzao Town has now become the country's largest downlight production base.

According to the person in charge of the Nanhai District Metrology Standardization Association, as there are no complete national standards and industry standards at present, the downlights produced on the market are of mixed quality, the scale of the enterprises is small, the quality management foundation is weak, the standardization level is low, and a few enterprises produce There is no standard, management is not standardized, and some even produce inferior products, shoddy. The existence of these problems not only undermines the environment of fair competition, but also damages the overall image of regional brands in the market, and even leaves a handle on foreign anti-dumping. It is understood that as early as 2005 and 2006, Foshan lamps and lanterns have encountered EU anti-dumping investigations.

It is precisely because of the above considerations that in order to avoid vicious competition, the competent authorities of the government participated in the guidance and supervision, and jointly drafted the “Nanhai Downlight Union Standard” through the spontaneous form of the enterprise.

Implement standard specifications for production requirements

It is understood that the standard of the downlight alliance is composed of seven experts from Foshan Nanhai District Metrology Standardization Association, Foshan Quality Measurement Supervision and Inspection Center, Foshan Nanhai Nanbao Industrial Co., Ltd., Pinyi Lighting Co., Ltd., etc. The committee worked out together. The implementation and monitoring work is carried out by the Nanhai District Metrology Standardization Association and the Foshan Quality Measurement Supervision and Testing Center, and the promotion of each link is shared by the participating enterprises and the government. Up to now, more than 10 companies in the South China Sea have participated in the implementation, and most companies are still waiting to see.

Xie Lunhua, general manager of Nanhai Nanbao Industrial Co., Ltd., who participated in the formulation of the standards and was responsible for the implementation of the first batch, said that the general requirements for the product, appearance quality, dimensional deviation, wet heat resistance of the sprayed parts, corrosion resistance of the plated parts, coating of the sprayed parts Hardness, main component requirements, bracket adjustment performance, electrical requirements, durability, luminaire efficiency, safety requirements, electromagnetic compatibility, environmental adaptability and other performance indicators are strictly required, as this is developed and implemented by the company. Standards, so the company has a positive role in improving product quality, product competitiveness and corporate brand. Xie Lunhua introduced that Langshi Lighting, a subsidiary of Nanbao Industrial, has been committed to the OEM of the first-line brand of domestic products, and the implementation of the standard will definitely improve the overall quality of domestic commercial products.
