2, node deviation
At present, the mainstream post-splicing solution in the industry uses AVP, NUKE and other professional video splicing software for automatic splicing, template splicing and manual splicing. The success rate of software recognition and the difficulty degree of manual splicing are largely related to the deviation of camera hardware nodes. The common multi-god Gopro assembly machine and multi-lens SLR assembly machine have large node deviation due to the size limit of the monocular body, which makes the close-range stitching difficulty increase steeply.
Another problem with node misalignment is the safety distance (blind area), which makes the shooting scene further limited. If more camera combinations are used to increase the video reclosing rate in order to reduce the safety distance, more stitching will be introduced. The gap is very difficult later.
As the node deviation is unavoidable, more shots mean more joint processing and more complicated post processing. As a result, multi-head assembly machines on the market are not preferred to professional content production teams.
3, quality
Although everyone is pursuing the SLR level, as far as the current situation is concerned, several SLRs have been combined into one panoramic camera. First of all, you cannot get the above-mentioned node deviation. Of course, there are luxury late stitching team, minutes can pick up tens of thousands can ignore my advice. At present, it is recommended to use Gopro's image quality as a benchmark. Below the level of Gopro, you can buy an entry-level study. If you can't use it for work, you have to look at the sky.
