Tangent Design in the United States is a design company that has long been known for designing unconventional lighting systems. Each of the lightings they designed refreshes the public's definition of the luminaire and is unique. Recently they designed a lighting called "kihou", which once again gave everyone a surprise.
Traditional light bulbs generally use solid materials as light bulbs, while kihou breaks the routine and uses two different liquid bubbles and air bubbles to achieve a glittering golden yellow bubble effect.

Kihou is an indirect lighting fixture that uses both liquid and air bubbles. First of all, the carrier of the whole set of lighting is a ceramic square container, which is available in different colors.
Each ceramic box comes with a lid. If you don't open it, you can't guess that it turned out to be a light.
In this ceramic container, it is filled with a transparent viscous liquid, and a thin layer of black silicone oil is placed on top of the liquid. A small water pump and LED bulb are placed in the bottom of the container. After the power is turned on, the pump starts to work and pushes the air upwards to form a luminous bubble that rises from the surface of the black silicone oil.
In this way, the golden light bubbles formed by the viscous liquid form a sharp contrast in the background of bright black silicone oil, which is one after another. In addition, the unexpected sound of the bubble undulation adds a mysterious color to the lamp.
The bright golden yellow bubbles are emitted through the thin layer of black silica gel, which flashes and invigorates the entire ceramic cube.
