On March 30th, the White Paper on Chinese Residents' Shelf Control was released. After introducing the causes, components, diffusion principles and actual emissions of soot, the "White Paper" pointed out that oil smoke is a serious hazard to human health and the atmosphere, and uses a large space to make a detailed investigation and analysis of the current situation of Chinese residents. The "White Paper" draws three conclusions including the need for systemic solutions for kitchen fume treatment, the need for centralized cleaning of soots, and government policy support and control.
According to a statistical study conducted by the Institute of Atmospheric Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences on a certain stage of Beijing, the contribution of food sources to PM2.5 accounted for 13%, which is equivalent to the sum of “Beijing ground dust†and “industrial emissionsâ€. The pollution of the fumes to the air should not be underestimated. Therefore, the first white paper on the management of Chinese kitchen fume has important value and significance.
