Under the wave of the Internet of Things, more and more IoT applications have emerged, and there are many environmental monitoring applications, most of which only have the function of collecting environmental information and displaying it in real time. The project is more focused on the evaluation of small indoor environments. It can collect the temperature, humidity, light intensity and carbon dioxide concentration information of the indoor environment in real time, and automatically evaluate and generate recommendations based on this information. In addition, by connecting to the OneNET open platform, this project allows users to intuitively understand the specific information of the current environment.
Project framework
Indoor terminal: The indoor terminal is constructed by the Kirin development board. It integrates temperature and humidity sensors, illumination sensors, carbon dioxide sensors and OLED display to collect and display environmental information, and upload data to the OneNET platform via WiFi.
Server: Used to get environmental information from the OneNET platform and generate rating and suggestion information through the evaluation process and upload it to the open platform.
OneNET: Used to store data streams and present current environmental information, ratings and recommendations to users.
Implementation
Indoor terminal: The indoor terminal adopts the Kirin development board. In addition to its own temperature and humidity sensor and illumination sensor, it also integrates a CO2 concentration sensor. After the terminal collects the environmental information, the information is transmitted to the OneNET platform through the WiFi module. In addition, different numbers of terminals can be arranged in the environment to be monitored according to the size of the indoor environment. The terminal architecture information is as follows:

Users only need to distribute the terminals in every corner of the room to make a global assessment of the indoor environment. In addition, through the OneNET platform, users can intuitively observe the environmental information of each room in the room, as well as ratings and suggestions.
