Coaxial Video Signal AV Solution for VGA LCD Display

Coaxial video signals commonly used in surveillance systems are introduced:

Composite-Video, also known as AV or CVBS, transmission media: single shielded coaxial cable, transmission impedance: 75 ohms, connection standard: pin = coaxial signal line, housing common ground = shielded network cable, Physically, the composite video terminal has "core" and "skin". The "core" transmits a composite video signal, and the "skin" is the terminal housing (grounding, anti-interference).


Composite video There are two common interfaces, namely RCA terminal and BNC terminal: RCA terminal is commonly known as the lotus head and lotus seat, BNC terminal is the BNC head and BNC seat. BNC terminals are commonly used in monitoring and have the characteristics of stable connection and strong anti-interference.

Composite-Video signals are transmitted through the back-end of the coaxial cable and need to be displayed or acquired using a monitor or hard disk recorder. However, the current production of the monitor is low, the production cost is high, and the power consumption is large.
